Government officers supplied documents to Keadilan'

IPOH: Parti Keadilan Nasional Youth chief Mohamad Ezam Mohd Nor yesterday claimed that the documents allegedly kept overseas were supplied by high-level government officers.

He said pulohan (tens) of these officers had supplied the documents since former Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim was sacked in September last year.

"We did not take the documents but they (government officers) were the ones who gave the documents to us," he said during a Keadilan ceramah at Kg Sg Tapah.

Ezam, who was Anwar's former political secretary, said the civil servants who provided Keadilan with the documents were those who could not tolerate the abuse of power and corruption in the Government.

Ezam also maintained his statement at Pasir Salak on Thursday night that five to six boxes of the documents were being kept overseas.

He told Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Mahathir Mohamad not to accuse Anwar of conspiring with foreign powers as there were enough Malaysians abroad who could keep the documents.
