Fadzil: PAS not hurt by sackings
PENDANG: The expulsion of Besut PAS chief and three others has not adversely affected the party's influence in the Terengganu parliamentary constituency, said president Datuk Fadzil Noor.
"We sacked the quartet recently for activities which put PAS at a disadvantage," he said at a ceramah in Kubur Panjang near here on Sunday.
In fact, he said, more locals had joined the party.
The four are Besut chief Abdul Latif Mohamad, treasurer Mansor Kassim, former Youth chief Wan Mohamad Wan Ahmad and Machang branch chief Fauzi Awang.--Bernama
