Menyalahkan PAS memang mudah tapi Ku Li lupa sejarah. Semasa UMNO jadi kerajaan Kelantan, orang Kelantan tetap miskin. Apa ada kelebihan UMNO? sama saja.
Begitu juga bagi negeri-negeri lain, walaupun banyak dibantu oleh kerajaan BN masih lagi miskin. Serupa juga.
Rakyat tidak yakin bahawa UMNO akan membasmi kemiskinan di Kelantan.

Ku Li: Still many poor people in Kelantan
KUALA LUMPUR: Kelantanese are still waiting for the PAS-led government to establish a welfare-based society, Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah said yesterday.
The Kelantan Umno chief said people in the state had been promised such a dream by the PAS government 10 years ago.
"We want to see what is so special about the PAS' model of Islamic government in overcoming poverty in Kelantan.
"Or should we only measure the extent of its welfare state by the number of ceramahs it holds each night, its so-called 'Islamic' signboards and the forest it cuts down over the next 10 years to come?" he asked at the launch of the inaugural fund for the Kelantan Foundation for the Handicapped on Tuesday.
Also present were First Finance Minister Datuk Mustapa Mohamed and Deputy Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Datuk Ibrahim Ali.
Tengku Razaleigh said there were still many poor and disadvantaged people in Kelantan. "In fact, the number of hospitals, orphanages and schools for the handicapped are still at a minimum."
