============================================================================================================================== PBS sec-gen: I'm not quitting KOTA KINABALU: Parti Bersatu Sabah secretary-general Radin Malleh yesterday denied claims that he was quitting the party to join United Pasok Momogon Kadazandusun Organisation (Upko), a Barisan Nasional component party. Radin, who is Tenom MP and Melalap assemblyman, said in a statement that a former Murut leader who joined Upko recently was trying to woo PBS members by claiming that he (Radin) was joining Upko.
He said that he received calls from his supporters asking him if it was true that he was joining a group of PBS members led by Tan Sri Suffian Koroh to meet and sign an MoU with Upko president Tan Sri Bernard Dompok today.
"I assure PBS leaders and party members that I am not leaving PBS," he said.
PBS, which won 17 of the 48 state seats in the March 12-13 Sabah elections, had lost two of its assemblymen Malek Chua (Kuamut) and Ulin Pamiang (Pensiangan) who defected to Umno.
In another statement, Radin said PBS wanted the Election Commission to confirm if it had re-gazetted the electoral rolls following the discovery of 560,000 dubious names.
