PAS: Move on govt hospitals just a ploy KLANG: PAS president Datuk Fadzil Mohd Noor claims the government's recent decision to scrap the hospital corporatisation plan was a "political gimmick," saying the option papers for employees were ready. He said PAS did not believe the scrapping of the corporatisation plan was permanent.

"The option papers for hospital employees are ready. They can choose to opt out or continue working with the new corporatised body," he claimed.

He told Sungai Udang villagers here at a ceramah on Friday night that the Government had also selected the companies to manage the public service after the corporatisation was completed.

He claimed an official answer was also given in Parliament confirming that the hospital corporatisation plan would go ahead.

He was commenting on a recent statement by Health Minister Datuk Chua Jui Meng that healthcare services in public hospitals and clinics would be provided by the Government to ensure the services were affordable to all.
